My article, on the misrepresentation and distortion of cancer research, is another reminder that the issues we are currently facing within the scientific community existed long before Covid.
I find it interesting that as thousands of peaceful protesters united to defend their rights in Ottawa, the story the mainstream media disproportionately covered was the defacing of the Terry Fox statue- an isolated incident that was quickly rectified by the protesters themselves.
Terry Fox was a humanitarian and cancer research activist- and a symbol of our fight to save lives from this disease. But I wonder, if alive today, what he would think about his legacy being constantly “defaced” by the medical-industrial complex putting profit ahead of humanity.
At least 2.5 times more Canadians died from cancer in 2021 than from Covid.
Where is the outrage?
